I have always assumed that most Zen practitioners are men, because most of the books on Zen that I have seen (not read) are written by men. Now, why always men? Well, I was enlighted with an answer when I underwent the monthly womanly agony today. Like...how do you meditate when you can't even get up from your bed and sit properly? OM. G.
